Seniors Morning Out Activities for August 2025

HICKORY – Participants will enjoy a variety of activities in August including trips to the Farmers’ Market, musical performances, crafting classes, and cooking demonstrations. Any resident of Catawba County who is 60 or older is invited to join Seniors Morning Out (SMO), which is held Monday through Thursday mornings at five convenient locations. Lincoln and Catawba County Boundary Line Established as the 2020 Census Line

The General Assembly of North Carolina recently adopted Session Law 2025-30, which defines the Lincoln-Catawba County boundary line as the 2020 Census Line. The law also invalidates the boundary line recently determined by North Carolina Geodetic Survey in accordance with NC General Statutes in February of this year.
