Sheriff's Office Raises Flag for Veteran

The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office honored Veteran Earl Lail on June 25th. Earl (Age: 89) was in Germany during the Korean War 1951-1953 and has been a long-time member of the American Legion Firing Squad. He was married 69 years to Betty Jean Lail who passed away June 6th. Earl’s American Flag was faded and worn. Several of our Deputies erected a new pole and flag along with Sheriff Brown. We appreciate all of our service men and women!
