Teen Self Defense

Learn about the common profiles and tactics of attackers, blocking and striking techniques, defense against grabs and holds, and the legalities of self-defense. Participants are encouraged to dress in comfortable clothing for this interactive hands-on training class. 

Creative Textile Workshop: Photo Transfer & Embroidery

Join us for a hands-on workshop where we’ll blend photography and embroidery to create stunning mixed-media fabric art! Learn how to transfer a photo onto fabric and then bring it to life with embroidery stitches. This beginner-friendly class will guide you through the process of image transfer, paper removal, and decorative stitching to enhance your design.

Canva Creators Course

Interested in creating flyers, social media posts, or even print products with your own personal designs? Join us as we walk through the process of creating with Canva! You will learn to set up a free Canva account, choose design templates, and interact with different design elements. Gentle Flow Yoga

A certified yoga instructor will lead us through a beginner-friendly, gentle flow yoga class. You are encouraged to bring a yoga mat or towel as well as a small blanket.

Studies show that unstructured downtime provides important benefits for humans of all ages. We all need opportunities for physical activity, diffusing brain activity, and socialization (that’s science-talk for FUN)! Since adults are the least likely to be granted a recess period in their day, enjoy some lovely downtime with your library. A variety of activities will be available each week including coloring, board games and weather permitting, Four Square.

Qi Gong
