Stretch for Health & Meditate for Mindfulness

Combining stretching with meditation may benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health. You can do these exercises while sitting in a chair or bring a mat/towel for floor routines.  While this class is geared to 50+, adults of all ages are invited to join.

This engaging talk by Joara docent Mike Carpenter will reveal the discoveries and stories being unearthed at this active archeological site, as well as the opportunities available to the public.

Needle Felt & A Film- Shrek 2

Ogres are like needle felting. Ogres have layers. Needle felting has layers. They both have layers! We will be creating a mini-Shrek figure and watching the 2004 sequel, Shrek 2, to celebrate its upcoming 20th anniversary.
