Library Observes Fourth of July Holiday on July 5

As summer hits its stride, Catawba County Library staff will be celebrating the nation’s birthday this weekend along with the rest of the country.

Since July 4th falls on a Sunday this year, all library branches will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of the holiday. We’ll reopen according to our standard hours on Tuesday, July 6, and remember: Our online resources like Libby and Hoopla are available around the clock for your enjoyment.

In the meantime, all of us at the library hope you and your loved ones have an incredibly relaxing holiday and that you celebrate and travel safely throughout the weekend. Happy Fourth!
