Children 8 and up are invited to a drawing class led by a local art teacher as we celebrate Will Eisner Week. Eisner was an American cartoonist and writer and is generally considered to have invented the graphic novel.

Learn all about the 2020 Census by reviewing a sample census questionnaire, understanding why the census is so important, learning how Census data is used, and hearing how personal data is kept safe and how people can avoid census scams.

Tech Take-Apart

In cooperation with CVCC's community-wide read of Tara Westover's acclaimed memoir, Educated, the Library is presenting community-focused programs to inform members and help them make use of available resources.

Dr. Katie Rosanbalm, senior research scientist for the Duke/Sanford Center for Child and Family Policy, will address adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and what it means to be trauma-informed.

Meditation Group

Meditation is the intentional practice of cultivating mindfulness. It’s been shown to reduce stress, lessen anxiety, lengthen attention span, increase imagination and creativity, reduce chronic pain, and increase patience. This is a chance to experience meditation and learn a new tip or trick each month.
