Meals on Wheels of Catawba County teams with Jim Armstrong Subaru to help homebound seniors

Meals on Wheels of Catawba County is proud to announce that we will be participating in the 2021 Subaru Share the Love Event. Jim Armstrong Subaru has selected Meals on Wheels of Catawba County as its Hometown Charity for the event.

From November 18th through January 3rd, Subaru of America will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to the customer's choice of participating charities. Last year Jim Armstrong Subaru and Subaru of America accrued $25,072.31 to donate to Meals on Wheels of Catawba County, which includes Subaru buyers electing for the dealership to donate $250 to Meals on Wheels and an additional donation from the dealership independent of purchases. This amount fed 25 seniors for almost an entire year.

The 2021 Share the Love Event will be the seventh consecutive year the Jim Armstrong Subaru selected Meals on Wheels of Catawba County as its Hometown Charity. Meals on Wheels is grateful for Jim Armstrong’s continued support in feeding Catawba County’s senior neighbors.
