Bubbling Brew – STEAM Fun
Tuesday, October 1 at 1 pm

Double, double, toil and trouble! Students in grades 4-6 are invited to a hands-on science adventure where they'll discover the scientific method and then mix ingredients with hopes to formulate their own bubbling brew. Join us for an exciting exploration of science!

Homeschool Hangout

Are you a homeschooling family or group? Come out and meet other homeschoolers! We’ll have an activity and coloring pages. For grades K-5.

Zumba Mondays!
Mondays at 6 pm
Main Library in Newton

Kick off your week with a burst of Zumba, a dance and movement class that’s too much fun to call exercise. It’s appropriate for every skill and ability level and open to anyone 14+ (parental signature required for teens under 18).

Purl and Chain: Knit and Crochet Club
Tuesdays at 6 pm

Make new friends and enjoy the company of others while you knit and crochet. Bring your own materials. 

Mindful Movement
Fridays at 3 pm

Combining stretching with meditation may benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health. You can do these exercises while sitting in a chair or bring a mat/towel for floor routines.  While this class is geared to 50+, adults of all ages are invited to join. 

Garden Volunteer Day

We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with tasks such as weeding, mulching, and planting at the Main Library’s community garden. Whether you're a gardening expert or just starting out, all ages and experience levels are welcome.

Goodwill Job Fair

Pantry Preparedness with True Cut Ranch

Melissa Falcone from True Cut Ranch will help you make a plan for a working pantry and long-term food storage. Learn how to get started stockpiling foods, stay organized on budget, and properly store different kinds of foods.

Gentle Flow Yoga

A certified yoga instructor will lead us through a beginner-friendly, gentle flow yoga class. You are encouraged to bring a yoga mat or towel as well as a small blanket.
