Thanksgiving Traditions
Monday, November 4 at 5:30 pm
Presented in Spanish and English
We'll look at how nations around the world celebrate Thanksgiving, with special foods and family traditions. Learn about several of them and share your own Thanksgiving memories. Sample delicious Southern side dishes and get recipe ideas to add to your holiday menu, too.

T-Rex Tea Party
Saturday, November 9 at 10:30 am
You're cordially invited to join us for a dinosaur tea party and story time! We’ll enjoy dinosaur-themed stories and songs before moving on to tea and treats, and you can even try your hand at dino-crafts. Fancy dress is optional. No live dinos, please! Ideal for ages 3 to 10, but all are welcome. Registration required.

Tai Chi
Thursdays at 6 pm (no class Nov. 21 or 28)
This graceful martial art has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety while increasing flexibility and balance. Suitable for all fitness levels, open to ages 14 and up (parental signature required for teens under 18). 

Microsoft Word Basics
Monday, November 4 at 5 pm
This workshop is intended to help new users get comfortable with the word processing software. Participants will learn to create, edit, save, and print documents. Registration required.

English as a Second Language Classes
Mondays, November 4, 11, 18, and 25 at 5:30 pm (beginner) and 6:30 pm (conversation/intermediate)
Through instruction and conversation, class participants will gain confidence and skills in speaking, reading, and comprehension. Registration required.

Microsoft Word Intermediate 
Tuesday, November 5 at 5 pm
Learn about the features in Word 2016 that make longer documents easier to read and navigate. Registration required.

WorkLife Wednesday: Resumé Tune-up

Wednesday, November 6 at 5 pm
This workshop will show you how to use mail merge, add and manipulate images, make comments, and track changes. Basic Word skills required. Registration required.

Grant Writing 101: How to Ask for Funding

Writing a compelling statement of need is essential to the success of any grant proposal. This workshop will provide a framework to help you effectively tell your story. Registration required.

Gratitude in the Garden

Our community garden needs to be prepped for the spring, and we're excited to ask you for help! If you enjoy being outside and working in the soil, we’d be happy to have you join us.
