Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event Set for November 2

Residents can clean out their basements, garages, and attics and bring their hazardous waste to Catawba County’s annual fall residential household hazardous waste collection event, which takes place Saturday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at LP Frans Stadium. Catawba County Emergency Management has completed local damage assessments as a result of Hurricane Helene. All County Parks Reopened

All four Catawba County Parks have reopened and will be open following usual operating hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through the end of October. Parks will close at 5 p.m. starting November 1.
