Seniors Morning Out Activities August 2023

Participants will enjoy a variety of activities in August including trips to the farmers market and cooking demonstrations. Any resident of Catawba County who is 60 or older is invited to join Seniors Morning Out, which is held Monday through Thursday mornings at five convenient locations. Catawba County Tax Office to Mail Property Tax Notices July 21

The Catawba County Tax Office is scheduled to mail property tax notices July 21, 2023. Taxes will be due September 1, 2023, and delinquent after January 5, 2024. Payment arrangements may be made prior to September 1, 2023. Delinquent taxes will be subject to a 2% interest penalty beginning January 6, 2024 and 3/4 of 1% penalty for each following month. Catawba County Library is one of 10 libraries selected to pilot a new internship initiative that brings teens and tweens together to build healthy digital habits.
