Community Centered Strategy

This strategic plan is a roadmap that helps the library decide where to go over the next five years, what matters most to the community, and how to best use resources to get there. The community is at the heart of everything we do at the Catawba County Library, and this plan was shaped by the voices of the people we serve. More than 1,000 residents shared their thoughts through surveys, focus groups, and interviews.


By setting clear goals, this strategic plan helps the library be responsible stewards of public funds and resources. It guides decisions, helps keep the focus on what matters most, and keeps the library responsive as community needs change. In the end, this plan is both a practical guide and a shared commitment to sustaining and strengthening the library for the community it serves.
