Due to a water line break in a Newton line that serves the Government Center, the facility will be without water today, February 13, and the Radio Station Rd. entrance will be blocked.  As a result, the Government Center will be closed to the public, and employees are being asked not to work in the facility. This does not impact the Justice Center or Animal Shelter.

Drug T.I.P. (Turn in Pushers) Line

If you have information about drugs or criminal activity in or around Catawba County, you may give that information confidentially and anonymously by calling (828) 466-2847 (ATIP) and leaving your information. This is a direct line to the Narcotics Division and your information will be used to further or initiate investigations against drug traffickers.
