About Family NET
Family NET of Catawba County provides an array of preventive and mental health services for children and families. Our primary focus is to support and strengthen families who are engaged with Catawba County Social Services.
Our clinicians have expertise in addressing trauma and approach birth, foster, and adoptive family members from a strengths-based perspective. In order to reduce barriers, treatment is provided in the office, home, and community settings.
Family NET staff clinical staff include licensed clinical social workers and licensed clinical mental health counselors who are licensed under their prospective Boards. Family NET also has a psychiatrist who provides additional support to clients. All staff receive ongoing training in cultural awareness, crisis intervention, and evidence-based practices.
Family NET utilizes several nationally recognized evidence-based practices, evidence informed practices and trauma informed practices to promote success for an array of clients including:
