Vendor Registration

We are excited to announce an important update to our procurement process! To enhance our efficiency and streamline how we manage bids, solicitations, and vendor interactions, Catawba County will now be utilizing PlanetBids, electronic bidding and vendor management system, at no cost to the vendor. All solicitations (RFPs, IFBs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.) from Catawba County will be posted and managed through our new PlanetBids portal.

How to get started?

1. Visit our PlanetBids Portal: https://vendors.planetbids.com/portal/77492/portal-home.

2. Register as a Vendor: Follow the prompts to create your vendor profile, making sure to accurately select the relevant commodity codes that align with your business offerings. This ensures you receive notifications for the most appropriate opportunities.

3. Explore Opportunities: Once registered, you can browse current and upcoming solicitations, download documents, and prepare your submissions.

Standard Vendor Application (PDF) Use this file if you want to print a vendor application, fill out manually and submit via email to TinaWright@catawbacountync.gov. In order to view this file, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.

W-9 Vendor Form (PDF) This form must be submitted with the application. Please email to TinaWright@catawbacountync.gov.

ACH Application Form (PDF) This form must be submitted when the Contractor doing business with Catawba County is electing to have payment made by ACH method.

Contractor Safety Guidebook (PDF) This Contractor Safety Guidebook must be received by all Contractors doing business with Catawba County and acknowledged by submitting the signed acknowledgement, included in the guidebook, to the Purchasing Division. Please send acknowledgement to Catawba County via email to TinaWright@catawbacountync.gov.
