In this 2019 Oscar winner for Best Picture, Tony Lip, an Italian-American bouncer from the Bronx, is hired to drive Dr. Don Shirley, a world-class black pianist, on a concert tour from Manhattan to the Deep South. Relying on a guide book to direct them to businesses that are friendly to African-Americans, the duo are confronted by racism and danger, as well as unexpected humanity and humor. As they learn to set aside their differences, they survive and thrive on the journey of a lifetime. PG-13.
