Briefly Describe your job.
I work in payroll and our department focus is to make sure all county employees are paid accurately and on time.

What is a typical work day?
A day in the payroll department usually consists of answering timesheet and payroll questions, making corrections, and meeting daily tasks to complete payroll in a timely manner.

What is your favorite aspect of your job?
My favorite aspect in this job is that, I have worked in payroll for many years, so I feel very confident that I can do a good job and that the position is a good fit for me. I am happy each time we confirm a payroll and everything is complete.

What is the County core value you believe most relates to the work you do, and why?
Just as the County staff works for the residents of Catawba County, the payroll department works as a team to make sure County employees are paid accurately and on time. We all want to be paid on time.

What do you like best about working for Catawba County?
A positive working environment is important to me. I think we have that here.
