Briefly describe your job. What do you do?  
Assist Taxpayers with questions, administer the tax relief programs, assist appraisers in revaluation by running reports, change mailing addresses for taxpayers.

What is a typical workday like for you?  
Answering phone calls and emails, processing tax relief applications and compliance reviews, running reports as needed for the revaluation department. 

What is your favorite aspect of your job – what do you enjoy doing most?  
Helping taxpayers learn about and apply for the tax relief programs.

What is the County core value you believe most relates to the work you do, and why?  
The tax relief programs help taxpayers of Catawba County to reduce the amount of taxes that they have to pay each year.  Depending on the program that they qualify for, they could cut their tax bills by half.  This helps them to be able to afford their tax bill and to have money for other necessities such as groceries, gas, medical supplies, etc.

What do you like best about working for Catawba County?
I like the fact that I feel that I am valued as part of a team.
