Briefly describe your job. What do you do? 
I process zoning permits, subdivisions, answer citizens’ zoning related questions, and help our department implement new ways to stay organized! 

What is a typical workday like for you?
Every day is a little different! I go to the office and see what comes my way!

What is your favorite aspect of your job – what do you enjoy doing most? 
I probably most enjoy helping citizens when they come into our office. I like being able to help them accomplish their plans!

What is the County core value you believe most relates to the work you do, and why? 
Doing it Well! I like to hold myself accountable and I love brainstorming new processes to make work more efficient!

What do you like best about working for Catawba County? 
Being a part of something bigger than myself. I feel as though local government workers are often underestimated and it makes me feel good to be able to say I’m helping the county! 

Where did you grow up? 
Palm Beach Gardens, FL

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? 
Spending time with my fiancé and dogs, cozy gaming, reading, hiking, and thrifting.

Movie: Dumb and Dumber; TV Show: Girls and The Office; Book: Anything by Ashley Poston and Emily Henry

Favorite musical artist or genre? 
Phoebe Bridgers

Favorite sports team(s)? 
I don’t like sports, but my dad would be happy if I said the Miami Dolphins.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why? 
Teleportation so I could visit family and friends whenever I wanted! Also, mind control.
