Briefly describe your job. What do you do? 
I process zoning permits, subdivisions, answer citizens’ zoning related questions, and help our department implement new ways to stay organized! 

What is a typical workday like for you?
Every day is a little different! I go to the office and see what comes my way!

What is your favorite aspect of your job – what do you enjoy doing most? 
I probably most enjoy helping citizens when they come into our office. I like being able to help them accomplish their plans!

What is the County core value you believe most relates to the work you do, and why? 
Doing it Well! I like to hold myself accountable and I love brainstorming new processes to make work more efficient!

What do you like best about working for Catawba County? 
Being a part of something bigger than myself. I feel as though local government workers are often underestimated and it makes me feel good to be able to say I’m helping the county!
