The Catawba County GIS Department mission is to provide reliable geographic data and tools to citizens and stakeholders to facilitate commerce and promote efficiencies. GIS fosters collaborative efforts and promotes good government as a multi-jurisdictional initiative involving the integration of resources from the County and the participating municipalities. The GIS Department is responsible for the development, maintenance, and dissemination of the County's digital geographic data. This web site is a portal to our web applications, data and mapping services.
