Halloween Face Painting

Halloween Face Painting

Published: October 08, 2018

With Halloween just around the corner, the Library is hosting a workshop on how to “make-up” your own mask or disguise. Every kid wants to stand out from the pack when he or she hits the streets, so learning a few simple application techniques will give you the confidence to transform your child into something sweet, scary, or ghoulish, depending on the goal.

If you’re hesitant to start from scratch or generate your own scheme, we’ll have sample make-up designs on display that you can use as inspiration or copy outright. You’ll also have the chance to view the creativity of other participants and see what you can come away with for your own purposes.

All materials will be provided for the workshop, so come out ready to mimic something fantastic you’ve seen elsewhere or to choose from something we have that you want to replicate. We do ask that parents be on hand to help with younger children.

The face-painting session takes place Thursday, October 18 at 4 pm at the St. Stephens Branch Library.
