Learn the basics of crocheting! Beginners and advanced learners can attend this class. Presented in Spanish; all are welcome.

Adult STEAM: Circuit Valentine’s Day Cards
Saturday, February 10 at 12 pm
Are you an adult interested in circuits? Do you also need a Valentine’s Day card for your sweetie? Join this workshop, and we’ll teach you all about paper circuits, a low-voltage electronic circuit created on paper or cardboard using conductive copper tape, LEDs, and a power source such as a coin-cell battery. Songs, sensory play, crafts, and stories designed to prepare your preschooler to learn.

STEAM: Paper Circuits
Saturday, February 10 at 11 am
Children ages 8+ are invited to make a complete circuit and add a switch. They'll use aluminum foil and/or copper tape, LED lights, and brass brads to create a parallel circuit and a series circuit. Class size is limited, so please register in advance at 828-428-2712.

Vinyl Sticker Creations
Friday, February 16 from 3:30-5 pm
Teens will use a Silhouette cutting machine to make their own monograms and use the trace feature to create vinyl cutouts of their favorite pictures. Two laptops are available, but teens are welcome to bring their own devices. (The software is free to download.)
