Rain Clouds in a Jar
Published: January 17, 2019
Elementary school-age children will have a terrific time learning about the water cycle as they bring the clouds down to table level with this amazing, hands-on science session!
Young participants will be able to see the difference between clouds that don’t have much water versus the ones that contain lots of moisture. And they’ll be excited to see what happens when a cloud becomes so saturated with water that it begins to rain the excess – right in front of them!
The experiment takes place at 3 pm on Wednesday, January 23 at the St. Stephens Branch Library. Many kids have the day off as a teacher workday, so this STEAM experiment is a fun way to keep the learning going!
