Murder Mystery Dinner

Murder Mystery Dinner

October 16, 2018

Do you love classic ‘who-done-it’ tales with all the requisite twists and turns of crime-solving? If you’re enamored of games like Clue or of great mystery writers like Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, you’ll want to consider the Library’s upcoming event.

Our special dinner allows guests to insert themselves into a murder mystery and then work to identify and capture the killer. Following crimes in books allows you to mull over the details and consider the clues, but when you’re working in real time and against the odds, the pressure becomes more intense.

Attend on your own, or come with a group to pit your skills against others – hopefully in time to avert your own demise! A meal will be served as part of the adventure, and teens and adults are both welcome. This is a sure chance to test your own mettle and have your nerves wracked just in advance of Halloween!

To make a reservation and to participate in the sleuthing, please call 828.466.5108. The event takes place Saturday, October 27 at 11 am at the Conover Branch Library.
